Baby girl was wrapped in a blanket and dropped off in the bush near an informal settlement

A woman has been arrested for dumping her four-month-old baby girl in bush at an informal settlement in Butterworth, Eastern Cape police said on Friday.

The baby, wrapped in a blanket, was found by residents on Thursday, Captain Jackson Manatha said.

They flagged down patrolling police, and the baby was taken to a local hospital.

A short while later police found the 19-year-old mother.

Foolish girl! Why didnt she give that child up for adoption. She knew she will have a baby when she widely opened those legs. If she did not want a baby she should have abrted.

I wonder what make a person to abadon a baby after taking care of it for 4 month? and being pregnate for 9 month? Some ppl want kids but they cant have, wena you just throw them like rubish. But why life its like this mara?
