Apr 3, 2012 | Sapa | 143 comments

A MAN accused of raping a 10-year-old girl has been arrested at Rietvallei in Kagiso, on the West Rand, police said

Police arrested the 46-year-old man at his home at 1.50am on Sunday, Warrant Officer Solomon Sibiya said in a statement.

The child had been playing in her aunt's yard on Saturday afternoon when the man asked her to buy him beer from a spaza shop.

"The suspect got closer to the little girl trying to convince her, but when she continued to refuse, the suspect grabbed and dragged her by the hand to the back of the shack."

The man then told her to lie down and promised her a R5 coin.

He undressed her and raped her before giving her the money.

Fukc, what is wrong with some Msanzi men???????? Seriously r.ape should be reclassified as a capital offence and the scumb@gs executed, right after sentencing. This is toooooooo much

ANC Women's League forget about decriminalising pros.titution but rather call for a referrundum for the death penalty and reclassification of r.ape as a crime. We have beasSe masquerading as fathers, uncles, cousins, grandfathers, brothers............. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

Innocence has a very low price in SA.
Times like this that my veneer of civilisation becomes very thin indeed and the desire to go all mob justice on his backside becomes incredibly strong
