Mom who pimped her daughters for sex gets life in jail

The children’s father received a lesser sentence of five years in jail

A mother who pimped her two pre-school daughters to men for sex and sometimes watched while they were abused, has been sentenced to life in prison by the Pretoria Regional Court.

Magistrate Mariette Louw handed down an additional 31 year jail sentence, and said the sentences would run concurrently.

The children’s father received a lesser sentence of five years in jail.

Louw said there was no indication that the mother, 34, had any empathy for her children.

She was earlier found guilty of being an accomplice to rape, being an accomplice to sexual abuse, and of abusing her daughters.

The two sisters were aged 5 and 3 years old, respectively, when they were forced to dance indecently in front of men, who also fondled and raped them.

The abuse took place from January 2005 to December 2007, during which time the mother was paid R100 or more per session.

Both children were removed from their parents’ custody in December 2007.

Louw found that all the incidents of abuse were carefully planned.

“The children complained of being in severe pain, but the parents took them back to these men time after time.

“They were robbed of their innocence and youth,” she said.
