Retired church minister caught shoplifting sex aid

Was he too embarrassed to buy it?

A retired Dutch Reformed church minister has been arrested for shoplifting herbal erection medication from a Pretoria pharmacy.

The 60-year-old man paid a R500 admission of guilt fine at the Sinoville police station before being released on Wednesday, Beeld reported on Thursday.

An employee at the Dischem pharmacy in Wonderboom Junction saw “the dominee” hide a packet of Maximor, a herbal sexual enhancer, in his pocket, according to the newspaper.

He paid for several other items, but neglected to pay for the Maximor and was apprehended by several security guards as he left the shop.

The minister claimed to have forgotten about the box after stuffing it into his pocket because his hands were full of groceries.
