THE National Assembly's ad hoc committee to fill vacancies on the Commission for Gender Equality has finalised its preferred list of candidates for the nine vacancies.
They are Mfanozelwe Shozi, Lulama Nare, Sylvia Desiree Stevens-Maziya, Janine Hicks, Ndileka Eumera Portia Loyilane, Wallace Amos Mgoqi, Nondumiso Maphazi Ranuga, Thoko Mpumlwana and Professor Amanda Gouws.
In terms of the rules of Parliament, the committee will present its report before February 21 to the House, which will then adopt or reject the recommendations.
