Juju Fashion Label is launching - WITH VIDEO
Designer reckons he's onto a winning idea
Speaking about the upcoming launch of his JUJU fashion range, designer Obakeng Ramabodu explained that first and foremost he does not profess to know Julius Malema nor does he wish to get involved in politics.
As a young entrepeneur, Ramabodu saw an opportunity to capitalize on Malema’s nickname ‘Juju’ and create a fashion range that he believes will appeal to men, women and children locally and internationally. Ramabodu even suggested likening the popularity of his label to Versace and Victoria Beckham fashion houses.
Ramabodu foresees his range becoming available in mainstream retail outlets countrywide, but for now you can visit his website www.jujulabel.co.za should you wish to place an order.
He's not shy with pricing -- the T-shirts are retailing between R250 – R350 with caps costing R200.
The current batch of 5000 t-shirts and caps were manufactured in China however Ramabodu hopes that he will have secured a business relationship with a local business for the next run.
The JUJU label will be launched nationally from February 11 starting in Limpopo.
