Designer Obakeng Ramabodu plans to launch a label named after suspended ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema at the ANC’s centenary celebrations in Mangaung on January 8.
The clothing line features the logo “Juju” and includes berets, T-shirts, sunglasses, watches and children’s clothing.
The label sports a picture of a large pair of lips to imitate someone who talks a lot, with the Juju name scribbled across it.
“It will be fun with bright colours and lots of bling. It is like the beret was made for him; no one can pull it off quite like he can,” Ramabodu said.
The designer told the Dispatch that he is a Juju supporter and hopes to ensure Malema is the main attraction at the ANC bash, even if he is no longer youth league president.
