An 8-year-old girl and her 22-year-old sister were raped at knife-point by a man who entered through the roof while they had been asleep

FREE State police are looking for a man who allegedly raped two orphans at knife-point in their shack.

An 8-year-old girl and her 22-year-old sister were raped on Sunday morning in their shack in Mandela Park in Clocolan.

Captain Phumelelo Dhlamini said: "The complainants are orphans who stay alone in a shack that belonged to their late parents. It is alleged that while these children were sleeping, the suspect removed the roof of the shack and gained entry.

"The children tried to light a candle but the suspect took out a knife, put out the candle and said he would kill them if they called for help.

"The man raped the elder sister while the younger one was watching.

"He then raped the little one as well and exited through the roof.

"The victims say the suspect is short with a shaven head."
