A crowd broke into singing “dubhula ibhunu”, (shoot the boer) at the High Court in Johannesburg after the words were declared hate speech on Monday.
“We are not scared,” sang another group.
ANC Youth League president Julius Malema, against whom the case was made, was not present.
General secretary Sandiso Magaqa said the league would first study the judgment before responding.
“We will defend the heritage of the ANC,” he said, stressing that there was no other response until leaders had been consulted.
In spite of contravening a court order, nobody was apprehended among the group of singers.
Judge Collin Lamont ordered that the words not be used publicly or privately.

This is what a newly chief justice must deal with as a third powerful man in the country as he has said, we want to be all be equal before the law and not certain individuals because they have got money or they are politicians let all animals be equal and no animal must be special. What Malema and his followers are trying to do to say that they do not accept the ruling shows clearly that they are dangerous to democracy South Africa has, if they defy court orders harsh actions should be taken against them we do not want our country to be a banana republic where every Tom and Jerry do like he wish otherwise if they defy courts and nothing happens afterwards then South Africa will be not a democratic country but a country serving individuals interests rather than interests of all citizens, so they are not above the law and if they defy harsh steps and actions should be taken against them.
