Zoleka Mandela's premature baby dies
FORMER president Nelson Mandela has lost another great-grandchild
Mandela's granddaughter Zoleka Mandela Seakamela gave birth to a baby son, Zenawe, last Thursday.
The baby died yesterday.
The child was born three months prematurely and died because of related complications.
Last year, Zoleka's daughter Zenani, 13, died when she was involved in a car accident on her way back from the Fifa World Cup concert on June 10.
A memorial service for Zenani was held on the anniversary of her death earlier this month.
Zoleka's partner Sekoati Tsubane acts as Kabelo on the Afrikaans soapie 7de Laan.
The soapie's publicity yesterday released a statement announcing the death. "It is with great regret that we report the passing of Sekoati and Zoleka's baby boy at the weekend. Little Zenawe was born three months prematurely and died from related complications," read the statement by the soapie.

My deepest condolences to Zoleka and Mandela family as a whole. I hope the family will get strength to deal with another loss in a space barely over 12 months. But why is it that Mandela’s grandchildren hang onto the Mandela surname? I mean the lady is already Mandela-Seakamela? Is she now going to be Mandela-Seakamela-Tsubane?

Black cloud is hanging over your head. Deal with the pain that your family has caused other ppl who are perceived to have non significant surnames first, then you life will be peaceful as well. Sekoati lkeft his baby mama ka bana ba 2 4 u........u were a friend to this women and even started letogonyana 2gether.....was mo shapa ka coro and wanka Sekoati, now u were attempting gore o mo fe something le wena......it did not materialize. So pls, take it easy, put other ppl into consideration, and maybe, u will have peace of mind.Report Abuse

@ Uhuru,Without the surname they will be irrlevant. they will be one among many, so by utilizing it, atleast, we commoners will shake (LOL).
It will be better if they follow their cousins footsteps, the Dlamini's.
they do not shine on their maternal surname, but use their talents and hardwork to get ahead & be known.
