'Killer mom' has a new baby
THE woman accused of killing her 14-month-old son and nine-day-old baby two years ago would lose custody of her newborn baby if found guilty of the crimes, the Department of Social Services has said.

Spokesperson Mandla Mathebula said should Mapaseka Seoka, 28, be convicted of killing her two children they would be forced to remove her three-month-old baby.
Seoka is out on R1000 bail.
Mathebula said they were monitoring the court proceedings.
“We became aware of her pregnancy after it was reported by Sowetan.
“We are now going to send social workers to her and monitor any abuse that the baby may suffer,” said Mathebula.
He said if the child was at risk they will remove the baby from her custody.
“At the moment we can’t take the child from her until our social workers have finalised their report on her.”
Seoka yesterday posed for pictures with her child outside the Vereeniging circuit court. She clutched her baby and said she loved the baby very much.
“One day when he is grown up, I am going to tell him about what happened to his siblings,” said Seoka, smiling.
She appeared briefly in the Vereeniging circuit court before her case was postponed to March 7 next year.
It is alleged that on August 17 2008 Seoka killed her son, Lebohang, and the following day she killed her daughter, Ditlhoriso, at Hospital Hills informal settlement near Lenasia South, Johannesburg.
Lebohang was found dead after being strangled, allegedly by Seoka.
The following day Seoka told her family and neighbours that she was taking Ditlhoriso to Leratong Hospital. She later returned home without her daughter.
Neighbours alerted the police about the disappearance of her daughter, whose body was found with stab wounds. It was wrapped in a jacket and put in a refuse bag.
