Most people do what they cant preach and alot preach what they cant do. i think they said that to you because they felt sorry to you by seeing your situation becauce they came to the funeral and them being representing the company which you late husband was working they felt to say something which they thought would would calm down or console but would not come to reality (words of comfort are common then deeds of comfort) Report Abuse
