I took the decision to leave them and I have now turned my life around.

I have a guilty conscience about some of the things I did, but I cannot change what happened. I regret it so much.

One of the things that happened during this time was that he forced me to get a tattoo (stuka) and it reminds me every day of what went wrong in my life.

I know every time my mother and sister look at it, they remember all the pain I caused them.

I want to get rid of the tattoo.

Nice to know another life has turned around for the better. Good luck. Right now this bad experience will loom large in your psyche but 20 years from now it will be just one tiny part of your life which you might not even recall for years. Time heals so move on to better things.

Regret? Why waste you emotions on something you can never change? Look on the bright side you only have a tattoo reminding you of what a bad girl you use to be, zuma on the other hand has a spear reminding him of what a cow he still is so you see everyone is bound to regret about something they did in their lives. Stop beating yourself up for a past you have changed now and that's what is important and you can still remove that tattoo

We all have done things that we deeply regret but having turned a new leaf is the best thing you have done for yourself and you family, especially your mother. as for the tattoo..seek all possibilities to have it removed it is possible to remove it but your consience will forever remain with you, which is where forgiving yourself comes in.
