I like the one of Vehicle purchase : " GET 25,000 CASH BACK' , that amount is added on your principal amount, and you will pay it back over 5 years.

Eventually you pay back :(25,000 x 9%-prime rate) x 5 +25,000 = R36,250.

They use the word as catchphrase, you get FR*EE........ when you spend Rx, people are interested in the fr*ee part not the T & Cs
