We all are capable of achieving big things

QUESTION: Why do some of us achieve great things, and the others are left behind, attaining little or nothing at all?

QUESTION: Why do some of us achieve great things, and the others are left behind, attaining little or nothing at all?

A major reason is that - not only do some people possess the knowledge of what they need to do to achieve what they want to achieve - but, most importantly, the top-achievers have the discipline to DO what they must do, in order to achieve their goals.

These exceptional people put in the required amount of work, oftentimes even more work.

Many of us know intuitively what we must do in order to get better results. However, we sometimes lack the discipline to apply our knowledge and put in the work required to achieve our objectives. Having knowledge of what to do is not enough, instead discipline, persistence and commitment are the catalysts that turn goals into a reality. This is why exceptional success is often achieved by those who persist.

Taking action becomes easier when our goals are broken down into measurable milestones. Unless we break down our goals into smaller, measurable sub-goals and milestones, realising our set goals, the task could become overwhelming and daunting.

Breaking down our ambitions into smaller, measurable step-by-step goals - that will get us there - is yet another potent strategy in keeping you motivated. By doing this, the sub-conscious mind accepts the goal as being far more achievable, and sets to work, tackling the milestones that will ultimately get us there.

As a result of this measured pace and approach, we simultaneously work against the fear of failure, while increasing our confidence each time we achieve a milestone. Many people have grand dreams and ambitions, but have not taken the time to think critically and outline the steps that will get them there, expecting that things will somehow fall into place.

their aim is to be achievers(winners)and if in their plan they don't have anything about community upliftment, they become prominent alone, the *rest* lag behind. This reminds me of many prominent people who come from humble beginnings(parents didn't have much or even educated)but beat the odds by not concentrating on what will pull them down, but they had the vision to be somewhere, happy and comfortable.

Laziness is our biggest enemy and the fear of failure, because of all this things we will always fall behind. For instance if you do not have University degree do something about it by enrolling with a recognised institution,i am telling you four years later you will be a graduate and when you are busy with your degree dont put yourself under any pressure,do it step by step, five modules at a time, especially if you are studying part time with Unisa.

The reason is :people often say what people will say if I do these,(2)most people need attension and high status which does not correspond with their socio-economy.

clear example.I used to work home boy here support center randburg, these guy was staying in Zandspruit (since he was studing until now when he work In IT support center),He look very low class BUT today he resign he have house which he paid cash (no bond),he have tourisn business, 2 shop2,3 tarven, he xcan buy R500000.00 car for cash.

He is an example of not looking what people say about you Rather stick to your plan until you succeed.

Its part of life but one can change situations for themselves.

Some people fail because of lack of confidance, some fail coz they do not even try or are busy standing on the side of the road making fun of those trying.

I think as an individual one should ask themselves what they want in life.To won or to be a looser.
