I decided we should use condoms because I am in no position to look after her and a baby. I am still studying.

She does not want me to use condoms. I don't know how to insist that we use protection. I am afraid that if I do she will leave me. Please advise me. Reluctant, Meadowlands

Tell her that she is far too young to have a baby and that you are in no position to look after her and a child. Using condoms is the sensible thing to do. If she became pregnant she would probably have to delay her school studies and she is far too young to look after a child.

You are still studying and are in no position to look after her financially. A child would be a big responsibility for both of you.

I am sure her parents and yours would be deeply disappointed if both of you did not complete your education.

If she does not respect your view on this you have to make a decision on whether you are prepared to risk your future in this reckless way.
