Being punctual is very important in life
BEING punctual (arriving on time for meetings and appointments, being prompt) is important in life - it shows your friends that you value their time and it sends employers a positive message, too.
For example, if you arrive on time, you are telling your colleagues and boss that you can be relied on, which is the kind or person people like to employ.
One of the worst mistakes a job seeker can make is to arrive late at a job interview. You are sending a very clear message - "I really am not at all interested in getting this job, in fact, I am so uninspired that I could not even bother to get here on time".
It really does not matter how brilliant you are or how fantastic your CV looks, most companies will not want to employ someone who is this disorganised.
