CAPTION: As a reminder, we quote Cosatu's Zwelinzima Vavi from march day: "I don't need a wife, I have a very beautiful wife", referring to the ANC.
Helen Zille asked: "Who elected Cosatu into government?"
Lindiwe Mazibuko pointed out that if the youth subsidy had been implemented by the original deadline of April 1, 2010, around 300,000 young people would have had jobs by now

I do not trust the DA's motives for this wage subsidy. Remember most big businesses (PnP, Massmart, Shoprite) are owned by DA supporters and I think they stand to gain more than the youth.
Take PnP for instance. For every employee they retrenched they hired three young, untrained and low wage workers through the labour brokers Report Abuse

@maditaba - precisely comrade adn the other fact is that Zille's family is the one of the big share holders of PnP with lot of casualization of their workforce !!PnP &Zille support Labour brokers becuase they worry abt profits !!
maditaba - "Remember most big businesses (PnP, Massmart, Shoprite) are owned by DA supporters."
Do you have any evidence to support this claim?
On the opposite side of the spectrum, COSATU owns shares in e-Toll. ANC top dawgs and ANC's investment houser own businesses that are profitting from e-Toll.
