Monster shark in Arctic waters

May 7, 2012 | Dr Know It All | 0 comments

GREENLAND sharks are often bigger than great white sharks and live further north than most other shark species.

They swim in the deep cold polar waters around Greenland. They can be as long as 6m and weigh a ton. These fearsome hunters eat polar bears and reindeer, though their regular diet is usually made up of fish and seals. - Largestfastestsmartest.com; discovery.com; marinediversity.ca
