According to a survey conducted by Victoria Milan, a dating website for people in relationships looking for action on the side, lovers tend to turn up the heat in their extra-marital affairs in December, particularly around Christmas. 39% of those surveyed said they send more sexy selfies over the holidays, and 68% said they take advantage of the winter vacation to contact their lover more often.

Phone sex and sexy text messages, on the other hand, seem to be less popular among respondents, at 10% and 15% respectively.

The survey of 7,985 Victoria Milan users was carried out from December 20 to 27.
