Be the change you want to see in this world

You are probably like us, you walk tall and are proud of who you are, where you come from and what you’ve achieved but how much time do you spend reflecting on your influence?

Every person we interact with leaves a mark on our lives.

Are these people aware of the impact they have had in your life? Do you think they even care?

Let’s take time and reflect on our influence. Irrespective of how little or big it is, we are catalysts of change.

Think of the influence you have on your family, friends, colleagues and that which they have on you. Does it aid you to move forward or does it pull you back?

Today I am the result of my own actions, but the truth is that I am also the result of others’ actions whether good or bad.

We can choose to spread good news, choose to be a positive influence to those we close to.

Yes, in this world there are no guarantees but we can craft our paths to lead to success.

We can choose to firstly be thankful to all the people who influenced us to this point and learn from all the negative influences we went through.

Mahatma Ghandhi says “be the change you want to see in this world”.  Napoleon Hill says “Think twice before you speak, because your words and influence will plant the seed of either success or failure in the mind of another.” So, what is your influence going to be from here onwards?

In this chaotic world, choose to be influential.
