In celebration of Mandela Day; Miss Earth South Africa visited Orange Farm on the 15 of July to plant a food garden for a primary school.

This garden is aimed at supplementing the school’s feeding scheme.

The group also painted classrooms with non-toxic and non-flammable Green Coat Eco Paint making these learners immediate environment that is conducive of learning and development.

The day was complete with the feeding the community members by Meals On Wheels with every volunteer of the Miss Earth South Africa programme giving 6-7 hours to this year’s Mandela Day.
