Can this vibrator make you smarter and give you a 'left-handed' orgasm?

After finding that left-handed people have better sex, a Swedish sex toy company has created a vibrator for right-handers that it claims will not only make them smarter, but also deliver a ‘left-handed’ kind of orgasm.

Not only are left-handers often regarded as smarter and more creative than their right-handed counterparts, but apparently, they also have better sex: 86 percent of left-handers in a global survey by intimate lifestyle company Lelo said they’re highly satisfied with their sex lives, compared to a paltry 15 percent of right-handers.

Sadly, right-handers make up 90 percent of the population.

The survey was based on the responses of 25,000 people from around the world between 2012 and 2013.

For reference, some of history’s most legendary minds were left-handers including Albert Einstein, William Shakespeare and Leonardo Da Vinci.

Armed with this information, Lelo has designed a handheld vibrator that can be used in the bedroom, but also at the office.

Here’s their reasoning: Left-handed people -- think celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Prince William, President Barack Obama, Julia Roberts and Keanu Reeves -- receive pleasure from the right side of their brains, which is responsible for innovative and sensual thinking.

The majority of the population, however, experiences pleasure from the more linear and analytical left side of the brain.

Enter Dextrus, a sex toy that is said to work by stimulating the right hemisphere.

The instructions are simple: Right-handers are to hold the ball-like vibrator in their left hands and squeeze.

Powerful touch sensors cause “whisper-quiet” vibrations to travel through the left arm and stimulate the right side of the brain.

At the office, the device can be used to block distractions and encourage creativity.

In the bedroom, however, the vibrator can be used to help right-handed lovers experience the intensity and pleasure of a left-handed orgasm.

The company's tagline? "Left-handed pleasure has never felt so right."

Dextrus is priced at $299 and was launched this month.

Meanwhile, connected sex toy company OhMiBod also got some media buzz recently after debuting blueMotion, a new vibrator that slips into a woman’s underwear and can be controller by her partner.
