Polela has set a good bench mark for our politicians, literacy is very important. I wonder how many of his fellow politicians would buy the book & attempt to read it. Writing & buying books is the least priority to the SA society. We would rather buy them & decorate our houses with them. On the other hand, why would they make Zonke an ambassador for promoting reading? Is it because she is beautiful or one of the mistresses within those circles? Her lyrics do not strike me as person who is a reader, in fact most of our musician's lyrics leave so much to be desired. Its people wanting to be famous without any talents whatsoever.

Re a leboga hle mmina kolobe, moshomo woo o a hlokwa e le ruri. When we talk about libraries, it will still take a lot of people to understand their importance because many people still think that libraries are for the people who are educated, and some use libraries for school related projects only. In this regard I say "Phambili LIBRARIES phambili". Maybe Bra.McIntosh should join library and information professionals as they celebrate the "Importance of libraries and how they contribute to the development of the society in South Africa" in Durban from 1-5 October at the ICC.

I have a serious problem with people who release biographies while still young. This is Polela / Nzimande / Whatever-he-is-going-to-call-himself-next's second book in his very short life, is it warranted? Its not like he is publishing novels or discussing anything of national importance, the book is about him and his life.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The guy must be on his fourth surname. Polela is the name of a river in KZN, he adopted the name because it sounds good, ones identity is determined by how the name sounds apparently.

His name is as fake as his accent.

Oh please give Mcintosh a break with his accent....good advice Mcintosh. Those who are educated can use their qualifications anyway in the world worst as we await the imminent fall of South Africa and its economy...
