Sabata church fulfils all my spiritual needs

His passion for music started when he was only 15 years old. We talk to him about Soweto.

What do you like about Soweto?

Apart from the fact that Soweto is diverse, the township is able to cater for all the classes that live there.

Soweto has a very rich history and it gives one the flexibility to do anything that comes to mind, from nightlife, fine dining and to engage in all sorts of activities.

Soweto is also rich in talent. The famous township has produced many prominent figures. Soweto is also the place that I call my home.

Your favourite restaurant in Soweto?

Nambitha Restaurant is definitely the best in Soweto. The restaurant sells authentic African food and it is run by people who really know the hospitality business.

Your favourite night spots in Soweto?

I love Sedibeng Pub & Restaurant in Meadowlands, Danish Pub in Diepkloof, Chocs Place in Pimville and Casban in Protea ext 11. All these places have a wonderful vibe and are exciting to party in.

What is your favourite hotel or B&B in Soweto?

Vardos Place in Mapetla and Wandies Place in Dube are my favourites. Both places are run professionally and are extremely beautiful and have the soul of Soweto.

What makes Soweto great?

Its history stands out and it has and is home to many great people in this country, from intellectuals to entertainers.

Your favourite chisanyama?

707 Panyaza is where the fun is. The meat is delicious and the people who go there to eat respect themselves.

Where would you take a tourist out for entertainment in Soweto?

Sedibeng Pub & Restaurant in Meadowlands Zone 10. The place has Soweto's DNA. It is frequented by everyone in and it represents all cultures.

Favourite restaurant you would take your family on a quiet night out?

Nambitha Restaurant in Vilakazi Street, Orlando West. The place is decent enough to bring your family, but not too stuffy and serious to intimidate people.

Favourite salon in Soweto?

Scissors 'n Combs Hair Salon at 110 Mampuru Street, Orlando West, Africa Beauty Hair Salon and Hair De luxe in Orlando West do it for me. The people who work there are passionate about what they do and they know how to please their clients.

Favourite spa in Soweto?

The Bath House Hair and Beauty Spa, Shop 94, Maponya Mall. It's great for relaxing and calming yourself. It is in a very convenient spot and it is frequented by interesting people.

Favourite church?

I like Sabata. It is situated in Pela Street, Orlando West. The church fulfils all my spiritual needs.

@Almy
You see what i meant by questioning were he's from. Real-Mogwanthi managed to see the myth behind my question. The guy is from Limpopo but never heard him outlining something about his hometown unlike other Celebs like Euponik, Bonang, Hlubi. As for you, dont come here with that coconut tendency sham
