There is nothing as great as going to church

SHE is a vibrant young woman who hosts an entertainment show called Lifestyle 011on Soweto TV.

The show airs on Mondays at 6.15pm.

Malebo Moropa of Protea Glen says she has nothing but love for Soweto.

What do you like about Soweto?

We all know Soweto as the heartbeat of the nation. It's filled with history. It exposes the world to different cultures.

What I love most is the fast developing lifestyle and how the youth is striving to make it for themselves.

Everyone is driven in Soweto.

Favourite restaurant?

Sakhumzi - they serve traditional and urban food, which makes it different from your normal fast food chain restaurants.

It draws a steady stream of tourists and locals alike.

Favourite night spots?

Change Room and Pelican. Both places bring people together. The music as well as the atmosphere is exceptionally good.

Another plus is that these places charge reasonable prices and are convenient.

These two are entertainment venues that offer facilities for Sowetans to have lifestyle functions.

Your favourite hotel or B&B

Vardos. It offers modern African style in terms of decor and architectural structure of it all gives it a homely feel. A night at Vardos gives you a feeling of the comfort of your own home.

What makes Soweto great?

The vibe, people, diverse cultures and the history.

Favourite chisanyama?

La Pozzie. It is an intimate but spacious fun place, safe and inviting. The meat, revellers and music are great. Sunday afternoons are always the best at La Pozzie.

Where would you take a tourist out for entertainment in Soweto?

The twin towers, aka Chaf Pozie, where you can take part in a variety of things like bungee jumping, quad biking, rowing and paintballing. It is also a nice chilling spot.

We'll top it all off by taking them to Vilakazi Street in Orlando West.

Favourite restaurant you would take your family on a quiet night out?

Nambitha restaurant, it is situated in Vilakazi Street, Orlando West. It is well-known for its delicious food.

Favourite salon

Soso's hair salon in Phiri Soweto. I love it because my hairdresser Mpho is very artistic and knows how to make a lady look beautiful and also the salon has a vibe about it.

Favourite spa?

The Roots in Diepkloof Zone 6. It is a herbal health spa. It offers a wide range of services from facials and manicures to mud wraps and massages, from advice on nutrition to techniques to combat stress.

The place creates a soothing environment for me.

Favourite church

Grace Bible Church that is led by Pastor Musa Sono.

There is nothing as great as going to church purely to go and thank and praise God for the great things he has done in our lives. Grace offers that space and more.

The church also helps young people to learn how to live a purpose-driven life.
