Spiritual things that will inspire girls
A LANDMARK concert encompassing lots of events will for the first time be hosted by the charismatic wife of pastor of the Bethesda Church - Fortune Ibe.
Ibe, who now runs her gospel station on Top TV, says aside from spirituality there are a lot of other things that make women grow.
The long-awaited day happens on August 7 at the Hatfield Arena in Pretoria.
Starting the day will be spiritual and motivational talks by those who have walked the talk and know exactly what it's all about.
They are pastors from Canada Pamela Cummings, and Pam, who will focus on motivation and governance, respectively.
A representative from the Department of Arts and Culture, will touch on the dynamism of our culture as African people as well as a confluence of other cultures.
Sarah Ngobeni, who brightens our TV screens with her lively and well-researched show, will put the spotlight on the media and production.
Business opportunities from US delegate Pamela will top the agenda.
Prophet Crombi, an essential presence at introspective and improvement workshops, will be there.
After feeding minds, spiritually enriching the ladies and cleansing bodies inside out, a fashion show by Machere and Lebo Mash will add to the glow of women, content with their lives, knowing where they are going and needing that a touch to stand out in a crowd.
Small business is supported through stalls showcasing anything and everything that is dear to women. I am talking exclusive wares, art, sculptures and accessories!
Lunch will be an exciting affair that spans two giants of Africa with a dash of something Western.
After a day of lectures, the ladies can take off their shoes and dance. They can dance to the music of the Princess of Africa Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Vicky Winans, Canada's Elaine, Brian Themba, Zano, who normally featured on Blackcoffee's CDs, Vukiwe and Ntokozo Mbambo from Joyous Celebration and the high-flying Siphokazi.
