@COPE, I agree with you my brother that these days there are more preachers and pastors who are turning attention on themselves as if serving God is synonymous with being a "Celebrity". Well anyone who is preaching their own gospel and turning people away from the saving gospel of Jesus Christ they will be answerable before God for their misdeeds and false teachings. Myself I'm a Pastor and I don't agree with most of what I see being preached on our TV Screens. Must say that there are true and genuine ones who are true servants of God and very humble. But as for this Mokoena dude, he's worst of False prophets and through his magic and powers he has managed to deceive millions around the country..

it does not help you coment on a ministry that you have never set your foot in. but its our nature as black people not to appriciate a good thing. Ntate Mokone does not read during his preaching but if you watch his ministrys, he always has one, he knows wht is in the bible by heart, God hase revealed to him what he needs to do to help his people. if you are reading a bible you self, things that he does should be familiar to what you read or have read. Well my brother you are wrong in many ways because this man is a Mosotho and in Sesotho we do have a word of Jesus, i.e Jesu wa Nazaretha. So that argument that he prefers to say "Modimo" is nonsensical to say the least. And to say that he does not have read the Bible because is knows it by heart is laughable. And by the way I know this Guy personally before he started with this "Tyrannus" Church, And he knows me too. I am a preacher myself and can preach very fluently in Sesotho hence I'm qualified to say that what this man preaches is not even the Gospel. Even the Great Apostle Paul in the Bible said this "Gal 1:8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed." And I do not apologize for saying that this church hails from the pit of hell and nothing will happen to me as I'm not fearful of what this man seems to represent. The Bible is full of warnings against the rise of false prophets and apostles who will have large followings, So this is not something we were not expecting. Paul said to the Corinthians: 2Co 11:13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.

Well he was married at some stage and was separated from his wife when he started this "CULT" of his but when the wife saw that this thing of his was gaining popularity and momentum they got reconciled but She's keeping a very low profile.

no im not, i get very intrested in a man of god who does good. just becouse he does good teaching people in a diffarent way than the way off the other preachers he ahs to be told how he is doing that and that and what he does is not good, i mean we all pray to the same god. And I have said before that we have nothing against him preaching in Sesotho, What we are against is the content of his message, it is faulty and very deceptive. We also don't dispute his apparent good works he does for the less fortunate, that does not make him to be Genuine and to be believed. This man does not confess Jesus Christ as having come in the flesh and he does not preach the Message of salvation through faith in the Son of God as the Bible teaches. The Bible that I read says we must not judge and you want to tell us that a born again preacher preaches the true gospel and an apostle, is a false prophet.

Just before Jesus went back to heaven, He commanded His disciples to tarry at Jerusalem for the power from on high. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

the bible clearly say the desiples must remain in jerusalem and wait for God to speak to them so they can spread the word of him. why did he say they must remain there?????? how long did it take befor god spoke to them, what if god is speaking to us now thro the apostle? ask your selfs thos question. yes there are other prists but has god told them how to use their anointment? they chose to follow the way of others than their own, n the Apostle was at other churches as a pasta, but god told him to take his own way, a way to reach the gods people. people dont be ignorent.

A Church of prayer, praise and power was established. Miracles and signs were accomplished in the name of Jesus. From Jerusalem, the Gospel was carried by devoted men of God to different parts of the earth. Thank God for Pentecost! It was the Birthday of the First and True Church! The Church began at Jerusalem, upon the Day of Pentecost, when the Holy Ghost or the Holy Spirit came upon the group assembled in the upper room. Mind you, the pentecost was the first ever church in the hole word since the birth of Jesus and it was an apostolic church. if we belive in the word of god, we are saved.

When Christ was warning us against the Pharisees it was because the were preaching one thing and doing the opposite, so he was in essence saying that we should not be like them. He was implying that we should live by integrity and practice what we preach. Pharisees were doing things to be seen by people and they loved to be praised, and loved to occupy front seats at banquets and so forth. So he was saying that we should not be proud and pompous but humble and serving. This is what the Apostle Paul said to Timothy: 1Ti 1:3 As I urged you when I was going to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus that you may charge certain persons not to teach any different doctrine,

Now you are getting to what I am trying to say. The Jesus Christ that we serve was a servant and he never bossed around anyone. He was always humble and God glorified him. Read Isaiah 53.

If you look at all the ministries today, do you believe that, all of them represent the real body of Christ, who is supposed to be the head of all churches?

@Retired, are we Africans as prosperous as those nation, natural disasters have been happening ever since the earth came into existence, what about the floads that swapped Mozambique a caple of years back, what about the draught and hunger that ravaged Ethopia back in the late 80s, point being this things have been happening on earth before human existence, Japaness has resource and capital to counter the dervestation, do we have the sush measures as Africans to counter such events, what you have to understand is culture, haritage contributes to a nations wealth, wealth being knowledge, capital and resources. Also with heritage a nation is able to build a strong identity which plays a part in the nations confidence, this is why this nations I have mentioned have invented almost everything we use today from technology to how we dress and what or how we eat, as African do we have the confidence to use our African architecture to build new cities, do we have the confidence to take our African medicine and prompt it into the Academics, do we have confident to take languages and use them for business and high level of learning. As Africans we need to know were we come from, this include religions our ancestors practiced, in order for us to advance and develop like other nations.

This has even disporoved the fact the world isnt 4000 years old like some like to preach. Well our primary responsibility as Christians is to preach the Gospel to all nations and to make disciples for the Kingdom, But while doing so we should take care of orphans, widows, the poor and the homeless. Christ himself was very practical in his approach and he changed the conditions people were living in. As the Christian Church Universally we need to change the way we do ministry and go back to the Church as it was in the beginning. You read in the Acts of the Apostles that those who had farms and lands sold them and brought the proceeds to the Apostles and there was distribution according to the needs of those who were in the Church. The good thing is that there was no needy person among them...Yes for that I would like to say we have fallen short..

@Uncompromising, while we are on this earth there will always be conflict between different groups, What we should however condemn is the violence and the killing of innocent people. There is nothing wrong with disagreeing and having different opinions but we should not kill in the name of religion, be it Christianity, Islam or Judaism. There should be an atmosphere of tolerance and peaceful co-existence..

i Wish Mr Mokoena would tell his followers where tirano came from because its built on a shaky foundation. Mr Mokoena's wife is a Member of Tirano School of Repentance started my Mme Rose Letaonana 43 years ago and headquarted in Jabulani, Soweto. Mokoena's Mamazala, Mme Mthembu is a Senior Director of Tirano and is based in Pinville, Soweto and has branches all over the country. Mr Mokoena was a pastor in QwaQwa and realised the multitudes of people of his wifes church and decided to come to Tirano in Soweto and was taught by Mme Mofokeng (Head of Tirano), Mme Mthembu and his wife sbongile. He then started tirano and told people that God showed him Tyrannus (English translation of Tirano) on a mountain which is not true, this is why they separated from his wife. He copied his ministry and "revelations" mainly from Mme Mofokeng in Soweto and IPCC. i am not against Ntate Mokoena i wish that him ministry grow further and reach all corners of the world but the truth shall set him and his people free.

I agree with you Wiseman. I tried to listen to his messages so many times but I don't hear him talking about the word of God, he only talk about himself and I have a problem with that. You only find the power of God in His word and if he doesn't talk about God or His word, whose power is he using? He guy is misleading people, PERIOD. He is sending multitudes of people to hell.

@Cope, I don't mind mega churches and in fact I believe in signs and wonders. I believe in the word of God and if the word is not there, it means God himself is not there. Jesus healed the sick, cast out demons and raised the dead and I believe in that too because He in His word that we will do greater things than those that He did and all that can only be done in Jesus Name and word of God should be preached.

And religion is man's way to attempt to reach God, while Christianity is God's way of reaching us and is based on relationship and not on rituals..

I believe you have said ur mouthful. those who dont understand the word of God, its ckear that they r still blind and they need to pray the above prayer and accept Jesus. The devil is happy and trying to keep them blind and deaf so dat they dnt recognyz the spirit of God at work.I hv learned dat its pointless to argue wth the spiritually blind and try to convince them to see God at work,until de holy spirit enlightens them,they can grasp the power of God at work in human lives. Only those who have been enlightened by the power of the Holy Spirit can truly grasp spirtual realities. To those who love him and believe him,God ill reveals spiritual truths. @Tirano4life, you missing the point big time my brother, at no stage did we express any form of hatred or dislike towards Mokoena, in fact I think he is a very charismatic guy with an ability to influence and charm. But what we are saying is that he's a "False Apostle". Jesus Christ said "No one comes to the Father(Modimo) except through me", And Mokoena doesn't teach you that. And we're not surprised that you cannot even use the Bible to defend your position because your Church is not founded upon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets with Christ Jesus as the Chief Cornestone. Listen to what the Apostle Peter says about people like your "Apostle" : 2Pe 2:1 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.
2Pe 2:2 And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed.
2Pe 2:3 And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep. Then Judge for yourself!!!

Finally some who have the boldness to spew it out thank Wiseman man of God to the biblical truth that you just shared with us, i just pray in my heart that God may just let everyone one to see the truth that sound doctrine not man-made, am one of those who say i have never seen mokoena reading a bible, Even the ephesians would go and study the bible to see if what Paul was saying was in context with the scripture,so it surely shows in this matter that mokoena's followers dont read the bible,because if that was the case they would have found that he is a "false prophet" if he is not teaching from the bible what is he teaching then?

Keep it up @ Wiseman and Goitsemodimo Bafowethu we really need Him (Holy Spirit) for such time as these because the Bible tells us that we must test the Spirit,,,if we ignore Him we will fall in the trap of the enemy,,Antichrist,,,let me tell you guys the enemy won't come in dark clothes because we will c him and run bt he will cum like an angel,,,shame on those who will follow these dudes because one day they gonna say Jesus in your name we cast out demons bt he will say get out of my face you wicked dudes....bafowethu if we really waana go to Heaven we need to be born again and let God wash us from all unrightouesness and ask God to give us His Spirit(Holy Spirit)we also need Him to worship God correctly because the bible says John 4:23 - 24. The time will come and the time is now where God will seek for worshipers who will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. 24. For God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. Therefore the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God that reveals the Truth because He is the Spirit of Truth God cannot be explained or proven because He doesn't fit in the laboratory and He is not subject to intellect but He can only be revealed so the Holy Spirit of God reveals Him in our lives. He helps us to know God better in our lives. Paul says in Ephisians 1 : 17 "I ask God to give you spiritual Wisdom and Revelation so that you might grow in your knowledge of God." hence the spiritual wisdom is given by the Holy Spirit of God if you read Isaiah 11:2 and He then reveal God's ways and thoughts about us. A carnal mind cannot please God, but a spiritual mind leads in to the Spiritual fellowship with God and we then see the results in the natural. Even when it comes to comprehending the Bible we need Him (Holy Spirit) because the Word of God is God's breathe 2nd Timothy 3:16. I am just a brother not the Pastor but i think i know God better than izolo..

All what i lyk about dese prophets is dat, people get healed, change people's life. Apostle Mokoena deals with de person mentally, u nid to know urself. If dey use magics wow deir magics heals and change peoples lyf. At least dese prophets are South Africans, people would not keep quiet if something is done by South Africans der are so many Churches here in South Africa with leaders from abroad but you will never hear anyone criticising dem because dey speak English not Sotho, Xhosa, Zulu etc.

Hayi ma Africa, no need to critisize guys, why ar we against the Pastors, Prophets and Apostle of South Africa? but favour the ones not South Africans?

His members are so ignorant of the Word and Mokoena is exploiting that ignorance to the fullest, enriching and elevating himself to the demi-God status in the process. I do not see the difference between consulting a sangoma, traditional healer or witchdoctor and going to Mokoena's counselling sessions and "ditshebeletso". All clients come back with all sorts of paraphenelia to use for their different needs/ailments, of course for a pricely sum. And there is no mention of Jesus Christ by all these people who claim to have mystical/magical powers. The Bible in TAC is read on Saturdays (Sabbath) but very selectively, to suit their 'gospel' and wayward spirituality. The church is very hostile to enlightened people, Mokoena wants the poor, illiterate, and vulnerable individuals who are prone to exploitation. I'm going back to the simple teachings of Jesus Christ, the Chief Apostle.

First of all...Mr Mokoena is not no an Apostle...the reason i say that is because of the things that he is doing...when i check the anatomy of an apostle according to the bible mr Mokena doesnt have even one.

Secondly He (Mokoena) is going to account before God of the multitude that he is leading away from from the truth of God. He is actually practicing what is called APOSTACY and it is a pity that his member s cannot see that.
