Fired Metro FM sports presenter Robert Marawa may make a move back to the station after he was asked to rejoin the SABC by acting COO Bessie Tugwana.
However, according to senior executives, the decision has angered Metro FM station manager Sibongile Mtyali because she was not consulted.
Sunday World has learnt that Marawa met with Tugwana in Auckland Park two weeks ago to discuss his possible return.
Though it is not clear if he accepted the "love back" proposal, it is understood that staff at SABC Sports have already started preparing for his return and subsequent takeover of the Sports @6 slot on Metro FM, currently presented by Udo Carlese.
Marawa said he was aware of the possible move back, but denied having met Tugwana to discuss the issue.
