Emtee speaks out: 'I’m repaying Ambitiouz by sticking around'

Ambitiouz Entertainment might be losing artists faster than an Orlando Pirates leak goals‚ but the label’s Emtee says he is staying put!

Emtee’s future was thrown into the spotlight after three of the label’s artists Fifi Cooper‚ A Reece and B3nchmarq announced their departure from the label on Friday.

As fans blew up social media pages with questions over whether he would be following the trio out of the door‚ Emtee told TshisaLIVE he would be loyal to the label.

“Hell Naw! I ain’t leaving Ambitiouz. I’m living good!‚” Emtee said

The Roll Up rapper said that he was unaware of what was happening at the label and was only concerned with his own loyalty to the company that “took a chance” on him.

“I’m grateful to Ambitiouz for all they have done and I’m going to repay that loyalty by sticking around. I don’t know what problems others have with the label but I’m good‚” Emtee added.

He said that the future of the label was “safe” as long as he was still on their roster.

“As long as I’m here‚ there is no need to fear. I’m just going to keep making music and not worry about the politics‚” Emtee said.

The label made headlines this past weekend when the three departing artists accused the label of dodgy dealings. B3nchmarq’s Jay also expressed his disappointment with Emtee’s decision to stay with the label.

Emtee had previously spoken out about possible troubles at Ambitiouz‚ when he used his SAMA Record of the Year acceptance speech last year to lambaste rumours that his manager had robbed him of some of his Metro FM Music Award winnings.
