This is how Anele dominated our TV screens in 2016

A slew of Twitter fans lauded the debut episode of Anele Mdoda’s TV daytime variety talk show‚ which aired on SABC 3 for the first time in July.

Titled‚ Real Talk with Anele‚ the show — which covers various topics such as news‚ entertainment‚ family‚ health‚ technology‚ finance and trends — was welcomed by fans as they quickly took to social media to give it major praise‚ applauding Anele’s hosting skills as well as the concept of the show.

The first guests on the show was the sidesplitting Trevor Gumbi and Kagiso Lediga‚ who opened up about their drama-comedy show‚ Sober Companion.

And from there on‚ Anele continued to host the biggest local A-listers‚ including Pearl Thusi‚ Kelly Khumalo‚ DJ Zinhle‚ Trevor Noah‚ Thandiswa Mazwai and lots more.

She also had a one-on-one with political figures such as EFF leader Julius Malema and Minister of Sport and Recreation Fikile Mbalula.

Tears were shed when she had Nonhle Thema.

International stars Blair Underwood and Orlando Jones have also graced Real Talk.

Mfundi Vundla set the record straight about fired Generations actors and Okmalumkoolkat opened up for the first time about his Australia incident on her show.

However‚ not everyone is a fan of Anele’s show.

In November‚ Ntsiki Mazwai openly criticised the TV host for hogging the spotlight.

She took to Twitter to claim that the problem with the show is that Anele just can’t stop talking about herself‚ and called on the show’s producers to sit her down and tell her that it’s not all about her.

Her numbers don’t lie though and season 2 was done and dusted with talks of a multiple season renewal in the works.

Bow down!
