Actress Terry Pheto has opened up about her failed romance with DJ Sbu, saying that - despite the ugly breakup rumours that plagued their relationship - they are in good terms

The two started dating in 2009, however, their relationship was short-lived after breaking up in 2010.

Widespread speculations claimed that DJ Sbu's 'bad publicity' was doing damage to Terry's L'Oreal ambassadorship, and therefore, was instructed to break up with him.

However, during an interview on Real Talk with Anele recently, the actress quashed the rumours, labelling them as false.

"That is a lie. That is a lie, I can tell you that. That is a lie and whatever that happened between my ex and I...happened, and you know, life happens..." she told Anele Mdoda.

Terry went on to reveal that her and Sbu are on good terms, and have since become friends.

"He's a good person, he's a friend and I have so much respect for him, and we're good. I think people love things that are like... esidini (on the side)."
