The feud between controversial religious leader Pastor Mboro and SABC COO Hlaudi Motsoeneng is showing no sign of simmering down.

This after it emerged two weeks ago that the clergyman is taking the SABC to task for R500 000‚ after his weekly preaching slot on Ukhozi FM‚ and Lotus FM was canned.

Apparently the religious leader paid the SABC to secure airtime to promote his church Incredible Happenings.

However‚ Pastor Mboro alleges that the broadcaster later cancelled his slots without notifying him‚ and without refunding him the money he claims to have paid.

In an interview with Move! magazine Mboro said that he is currently mobilising members of his church to host a three-day prayer service outside the SABC‚ in an attempt to get Hlaudi to pay back his money.

“I am organising my church members and we will get into buses to go and pray at the SABC for three days‚ so that Hlaudi can pay back the money‚” he told the publication.

Pastor Mboro added that he wanted God to “touch” Hlaudi and the SABC so that his church’s money would be paid back.

“I want God to help the broadcaster to stop discriminating against me and my church‚” he said.

Speaking to Sunday World two weeks ago SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago confirmed the dispute.

The clergyman is no stranger to controversy again made headlines earlier this week after he flaunted his fancy new BMW i8 worth R2 million. Mboro came under fire from Twitter users who questioned how the pastor‚ who was said to be broke‚ could afford the sports car.

A few days after the Twitter storm Mboro responded to the backlash saying that God has rewarded him with the car for helping the poor.
