Muvhango actor Macdonald Ndou, who plays the popular character of KK, narrowly escaped death when armed men hijacked and drove off with him in the Joburg CBD two weeks ago.
According to police, Ndou was hijacked in seedy Jeppestown on the night of August 7.
"After the victim parked his Audi, he was approached by three men as he was about to close the gate. Two of them were armed with firearms. They put him in the passenger's seat and robbed him of a cellphone and bank cards before they drove off.
"Ndou's car was recovered on the same day around Edenpark after they abandoned him and his car," said police spokesman Richard Munyai.
