WATCH: Some SA white men can dance

A video of a student at the University of Pretoria showing off some slick dance moves has not only proved that white men can dance but also sent out a powerful message that different races can live in harmony.

The feel good Tuks Sports video was uploaded to Facebook by Ike Bam on Friday last week and had already been watched‚ by noon on Thursday‚ well over 144 000 times.

Deodat Kritzinger drove the crowd wild with his dance moves at a traditionally African dance-off and was warmly embraced by students afterwards.

“I’ve seen some of the responses on the video and it’s incredible. It’s crazy how a video of a guy dancing and getting embraced by his fellow students can reignite people’s love for our awesome country‚” Kritzinger told Goodthingsguy.com‚ a website that showcases inspiring stories.

Bam tagged the footage as a #FridayFeelGoodVideo. “WATCH: Mlungu owns the dance floor. I love this country. #Iyachesa Video by @TuksSport‚” he said on Facebook.

Zuks Nchukana added: “Love it. You are correct Ike. We have all the ingredients to show the world that different races can live in harmony side by side.”
