A slew of Twitter fans have lauded the debut episode of Anele Mdoda’s TV daytime variety talk show‚ which was aired on SABC 3 for the first time on Thursday afternoon.

Titled‚ Real Talk with Anele‚ the hotly anticipated show was welcomed by fans as they quickly took to social media to give it major praise‚ applauding Anele’s hosting skills as well as the concept of the show. Subsequently‚ it made its way onto the Twitter trends list.

The first guests on the show included the sidesplitting Trevor Gumbi and Kagiso Lediga — who opened up about their new drama-comedy show‚ Sober Companion.

The show covers various topics such as news‚ entertainment‚ family‚ health‚ technology‚ finance and trends.

“Real Talk is an exciting contrast between famous and fresh faces‚ news and opinion‚ fact and fun‚” said a statement from SABC.

The show airs on weekdays at 4pm on SABC 3.
