AKA, Nasty C and K.O to collaborate on new DJ Vigilante record

Several months after DJ Vigilante pulled most of record label Cashtime together for his track Pasop‚ he’s managed to secure a star-studded collaboration with AKA‚ Nasty C and K.O.

Talking to TMG Entertainment on Thursday‚ Cashtime CEO Thabiso Khati confirmed that the four hip-hop heavyweights have recorded a track together called Bang Out‚ which they hope to release within the next three weeks.

DJ Vigilante also told TMG Entertainment that fans can look forward to a track that would be “bigger than big.”

“I’m so excited to be releasing a record with these guys. I’ve always had a brotherhood with Kiernan (AKA) and K.O and I’ve come to grow a relationship with Nasty (C). I’ve always seen them as kind of the leaders of the game and so I decided to try get them all on one track to kind of bring together and showcase the three generations of hip-hop.”

Despite rumours of a long-standing rivalry between Nasty C and AKA‚ Vigilante says that there was nothing but love in the recording studio.

“I know that Nasty C looks up to Kiernan (AKA) and K.O and they really respect what he’s done with the game. So there was just this energy of mutual admiration and respect for each other. It was all good vibes and putting it together was massive‚” Vigilante said.

There had been whispers of a collaboration between AKA and Nasty C ever since the pair were snapped together at Raw X studios two weeks ago but fans were shocked to learn‚ through a picture posted to Thabiso’s Instagram account on Wednesday‚ that their collaboration will now include K.O and DJ Vigilante.
