Leon Schuster has dumped Alfred Ntombela for Desmond Dube.

South Africa's popular prankster and film legend releases Schuks! Pay Back The Money! in August and has reunited with Dube after some years with Ntombela on productions such as Mr Bones in 2001 and Mad Buddies in 2012.

Schuster and Dube made Panic Mechanic in 1996 and Millenium Menace in 2000.

Dube appears as a government minister in Schuks! Pay Back The Money!

The latest installation sticks to the film maker's winning formula of spoofs, slapstick and candid camera. So there are warm claps and the usual polarising stereotypes.

In the story, Schuks loses the Currie Cup and the film follows his journey to pay for what he has done. He wears a Jacob Zuma mask at Ellis Park as he pranks the stadium, and there are familiar faces including Pik Botha and Bianca le Grange.

Jared Stokes from Walt Disney Company Africa, the distributors of the film said there will be a meatier story line and less gags than previous Schuster movies.

The movie is directed and co-written by Gray Hofmeyer and produced by André Scholtz.

Schuster's Mr Bones 2, released in 2008 was his most successful film, earning more than R33-million at the box office.
