Weekend Live presenter and producer Tumi Sedumedi has had to stave off horny males bombarding her Facebook inbox with photos of erect penises.

Sedumedi said that, in eight months, she has had five men send her smutty images and messages.

On Tuesday, she set out to put an end to the harassment and name and shame the culprit.

She exposed her latest offender, a fan, who sent her at least 16 messages that she ignored until he informed her "ngivukelwe" (I'm aroused) and then sent a picture of a penis. Sedumedi then copied the messages and posted them on her timeline, labelling them "nauseating".

The presenter also slammed women who post nude pictures of themselves online. "My Facebook profile does not justify that. I think even my other pictures, which may be seen as suggestive or sexy, were professionally taken. I feel we should work on our own safety because these people might not even be the biggest risk. I think the biggest risk is the silent ones," she said.

"I feel like Facebook opens us to these kind of risks. I think the way we conduct ourselves on social media puts us at risk of these things. To a certain extent, you can't blame people who think it is appropriate to do such because of what girls post on Facebook. How people take nudity for granted."

Sedumedi said she had not reported the matter to the police though she was considering doing so for her own safety.
