US rapper and musician Afroman was arrested on Tuesday after punching a female fan in the face.
Afroman - best known for his 2001 hit Because ‘I Got High’ was arrested after video footage showed him punching a female fan on stage during a concert in Biloxi, Mississippi.
The rapper has since apologised for his behaviour, with his rep blaming the incident on an ‘involuntary reflex reaction’
"This was a completely involuntary reflex reaction to people infringing on his stage space," the rep said in a statement. "It was uncharacteristic behavior that was initiated by outside uncontrolled forces."
