Make your own movie starring Adrien Brody

There is only two weeks left for young South African film makers hoping to secure their spot in Hollywood for an experience of a lifetime with actor Kevin Spacey and Trigger Street Productions.

Budding film makers are being given a chance to create a short film which could feature US actor Adrian Brody.

The winning short story in the Jameson First Shot film competition will premiere in Los Angeles with the acclaimed team in attendance.

The competition is open to entries and the rules, including length and theme, can be found at http://www.jamesonfirstshot.com/.

Adrien Brody will play the lead in this year’s winning films. His own journey from unknown actor to Oscar-winner was far from easy, making him a natural match for the competition. ‘Jameson First Shot affords talented writer/directors an important gift’ affirms Brody, ‘the confidence to exercise fearlessness and the opportunity to materialise their dreams’.

Such was the overwhelming response to last year’s competition; Jameson is expanding its catchment area to give more unearthed talent the chance to enter their work. Entrants living in the UK, Ireland, India, Australia and Canada, in addition to SA, Russia and the US, are now eligible to enter.

So what are you waiting for? Enter now, Entries close on 1st February 2015.
