Kenny served his guests 'bad' sushi

BUSINESSMAN Kenny Kunene allegedly served his patrons "bad" sushi off women's bare private parts at his 44th birthday party on Friday at a plush Sandton nightclub.

Rapper Lagosh, real name Tshepo Mashile, yesterday said he was still having stomach cramps. He was one of the guests at the oriental delicacy feast.

"I have cramps. Maybe this is what girls go through when they are on their periods.

"It is so uncomfortable, it comes and goes. I am going to get it checked out," said the rapper.

"I'm not a fan of sushi. I only did it because Kenny is my pal and I was supporting him.

"It was not his fault, he is a good guy. Him and I are okay. I must just stay away from sushi."

Cosatu general secretary Zwelinzima Vavi has since told Sowetan that he is pleading with South Africans to condemn the sushi parties.

Kunene said he would revive and escalate the sushi parties into a national series of events.

Last night was Alexandra township's turn.

One of the naked muses who had sushi eaten off her private parts, Jeanette Prim, of Johannesburg said she was not paid for her troubles, nor did she expect money.

She said she did it for free because she was "bored. I was a bit nervous at first because it was cold but nothing was uncomfortable."

She said she had known Kunene for several years and when he approached her to do it, she agreed "just for fun".

She said she did not react to the sushi on her rose: "I am perfect. I never eat the sushi myself.

"The thing about sushi is that it is only good if you keep it fresh for seven hours, after that it goes off. That sushi was definitely kept for more than that," she said.

Yesterday Kunene shot back: "They are speaking nyoso (rubbish). There is a sushi place there by Taboo (night club). When I was on stage, we had to wait for sometime because they had to bring the sushi.

"Where does the seven hours come in? Whoever has a stomach bug has it because he drank and ate things he does not know. He should not blame anyone. Why isn't anyone else ill? Why am I not ill? I ate the same thing."
