Kanye West has reportedly installed surveillance cameras in every room in his house so he can keep an eye on daughter North, 13 months, when he is away.

The 37-year-old singer has reportedly angered wife Kim Kardashian after installing surveillance devices in every room in their Los Angeles home - including the bathroom - to keep track on 13-month-old North.

A source said: ''Kanye is very protective of North and he likes the idea of being able to check up on her while he's away touring. ''So he asked LA-based tech company VIA international to install high-tech cameras all over his house.

''He can then have a live link to their home and watch what North is doing wherever he is in the world. ''Kanye has a clear idea in his mind of the way his daughter should be brought up, and wants to check his ideas are being put into action'' ''But Kim isn't happy about the whole arrangement.

She hates the idea of being watched all the time. She's told him that she feels he's being critical of her parenting.'' The 37-year-old rapper has insisted to the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star that he isn't worried about her parenting, but wants to see his daughter as much as possible. The source said: ''He's reassured Kim that he's just installed the cameras because he misses North so much but it's already causing a rift between them.''

The 'Bound 2' rapper is said to have clear ideas on how North should be spending her days and wants to ensure his ''influence'' is present even when he is on the road. The source added to the Daily Star newspaper: ''Kanye is insisting that North has structure and routine in her life. He wants her to play with educational toys and do baby yoga or swimming every day. ''He's even told Kim to make sure that she's playing with other children at least four times a week.

''Kanye just likes the idea of being able to have an influence on her life, even when he is thousands of miles away. ''He'll be away working a lot for the rest of the year and worries about not being kept in the loop.''
