YaYa DaCosta and Arlen Escarpata have been chosen to play Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown in a new biopic on the iconic singer's life.
America's Next Top Model alum Yaya DaCosta will play Whitney while Arlen Escarpata will play Bobby Brown in the movie which is due out in 2015.
The movie will be directed by Whitney's friend and former co-star Angela Bassett.
“I have such regard for both Whitney’s and Bobby’s amazing talents and accomplishments; and I feel a responsibility in the telling of their story. Their humanity and bond fascinates us all. I’m beyond excited to have this opportunity to go behind the camera and into their world,” she was quoted saying in a press statement.
