We've all read about fans becoming obsessed with the rich and famous by stalking or writing letters but permanently altering your appearance to look like your favourite star is taking obsession to another level.

24-year-old Brit, Claire Leeson saw Kim on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and became obsessed upon realising that she has the same number of sisters as Kim.

According to happyplace Claire began "Kimming" herself at age 17.

Claire says she grew up being bullied and told she was the 'ugliest thing alive’ and that she should kill herself and while there is nothing she can do to change the past, she is determined to take control of her future surgically changing her appearance to look like one of the most beautiful women on TV.

Claire has undergone many procedures in her attempt to ressemble Kim including a boob job (£5000), teeth whitening (£2500) and “bum padding” (£350).

Although Claire gets regular work as a Kim lookalike she is still in debt.

"I work, my job doesn’t pay enough … I’ve used credit cards to pay for everything. I’m in major debt. I say that I’m going to pay them but as soon as money comes in I just think about getting my Kimmy on."

To some this may seem like an unhealthy obsession but to Claire it has made her feel beautiful and boosted her self esteem and confidence.

"When I get my Kimmy on I feel like I’m unstoppable and untouchable and I feel like no one can stop me and I can make something of myself. I feel strong… and I feel that I have built enough confidence to love myself a little bit more."

While there can only be one Kim Kardashian, Claire is doing a good job of realising her dream and now bears a striking resemblance to Kim.
