MiCasa announces 2014 'party manifesto'

“Together, we can tear the dance floor apart”

With the highly anticipated May 7th National Election beckoning, parties such as the ruling ANC, opposition parties EFF and the DA have made their mark in staging antics in the hopes of lobbying for election votes.

Not to be upstaged, Mi Casa have announced their very own “Party” Manifesto, which is sure to create a buzz and hopefully give other parties a run for their money, ahead of the upcoming South African Music Awards, to be held in Sun City on Monday, 28th April 2014.

The SAMA Award-winning trio is up for a staggering 6 awards, one of which is the highly coveted Record Of The Year nomination. In this category, Mi Casa is nominated for their hit song “Jika”, which has dominated airwaves in the past year; topping MTVBase, ChannelO, Trace charts, and a surprise number one spot on BBC Radio.

“We see ourselves as innovators, which is evident in our trademark sound, and musical style. It’s important for entertainers to think creative ways to remain relevant and stay top of mind, especially in a busy time such as the election period. Our Election Manifesto is our way of staying in touch with our supporters and media peers”, said Mi Casa.
