Soapie teasers for Rhythm City: February

Monday, 3 February 2014: Lucilla struggles to decide whether or not should go to New York with DH. David goes to DH with a fabrication of who killed Ivan. Thandi Dlamini interviews Victoria and Stella on their relationship with Miles.

Tuesday, 4 February 2014:

Lerato is determined on making her song a hit. Miles takes Victoria out on a date and Stella sees them. DH tells David that he has decided to stop investigating Ivan’s death.

Wednesday, 5 February 2014:

Stefanie tries to convince DH to go back to New York and leave Lucilla behind. David tells Jimmy that he must kill Wu. Lerato is shocked to find out what Fats and the guys think of her.

Thursday, 6 February 2014:

Miles and Victoria react to a nasty article detailing their relationship. Lerato tries desperately to get ahead in the music business. David pressurises Jimmy into doing evil deeds for him. Lucilla finds a very suspicious document belonging to DH.

Friday, 7 February 2014:

Lucilla manages to convince herself that DH’s appointment with an estate agent means he is getting itchy feet. Jimmy sneaks into jail. The second press report on Miles’s private life is even more distorted than the first one.

Monday, 10 February 2014:

Lerato is panicking about her big performance at Kilowatt. David is slightly freaked out when Jimmy proves himself to be an enthusiastic killer. DH learns that Wu is dead.

Tuesday, 11 February 2014:

Lucilla tries to persuade DH to stop digging into Wu’s death. Stefanie plants a listening device into Lu’s bag. Miles wakes up to discover that Victoria is gone.  

Wednesday, 12 February 2014:

DH invites Lucilla to come and see the house that he has chosen for them. Miles struggles to declare his feelings for Victoria. Lerato feels humiliated when she cleans up vomit in the men’s toilet at Kilowatt.

Thursday, 13 February 2014:

Lucilla challenges Stefanie’s motives for wanting to expose her to DH. Gail unwittingly advises Lucilla to do everything she can to keep her secret from DH.

Friday, 14 February 2014:

The cost of living catches up with the Khuses. Sis Bee wants to run for a position in the church council. 

Monday, 17 February 2014:

Mamokete helps Sis Bee with a cake sale for the church, and unintentionally steals her thunder. Lucilla tells DH the truth about Ivan’s death. 

Tuesday, 18 February 2014:

David and DH play a deadly game. Mamokete is worried that Sis Bee thinks she’s trying to steal her thunder.

Wednesday, 19 February 2014:

DH wrestles with the decision of whether to kill David or let him live. Sis Bee confronts Mamokete about her decision to stand for the church board position. 

Thursday, 20 February 2014:

Gail encourages Lucilla to fight for her relationship with DH. Sifiso and Reneilwe see each other for the first time at the shisa nyama. 

Friday, 21 February 2014:

Everyone’s desperately worried about Sis Bee and Mamokete competing for the church counsil position. Bash is up to something and he wants to get Niki involved. 

Monday, 24 February 2014:

Bash tries to scam Niki into funding his dream of running a taxi business. A smitten Sifiso tries to see Reneilwe again. 

Tuesday, 25 February 2014:

Bash proposes a number-number scam to Niki to raise capital for his taxi business. Sifiso gives Reneilwe a brush-off. Mamokete goes head to head with Sis Bee for the church board position.  

Wednesday, 26 February 2014:

Rose and Caroline try to intervene in the growing conflict between Mamokete and Sis Bee. Reneilwe swears that she is done with boys. Niki decides to invest in Bash’s taxi business idea. 

Thursday, 27 February 2014:

Sifiso’s old pal, Tsetse Fly, shows up and encourages him to bunk off work. Sis Bee arrives at the jumble sale to upstage Mamokete with her own jumble sale. 

Friday, 28 February 2014:

Mamokete bites off a bit more than she can chew when she takes Sis Bee head on. Bash pitches the number-number scam to Lerato.
