Talented newcomer Bongi Mvuyana gets AKA's attention

Bongi Mvuyana, mzansi's newcomer in the entertainment industry just recently launched her debut single 'I Wonder' and is already growing quite a fan base.

The singer and songwriter will be opening act for Africa’s rap prince, AKA, on SABC 1's live performance show, SkyRoomLive on Saturday, 16 November 2013 at 22h00.

AKA has recently become a fan, taking to social media to express his interest in working with Bongi Mvuyana and expressing her sound as “gawdly”.

“Opening up for AKA and performing on SkyRoomLive is an incredible opportunity. I have respect for both AKA as an artist and SkyRoomLive as a platform that continuously brings South African talent to the masses” says Bongi Mvuyana.

The talented songstress has performed on platforms such as the prestigious Moshito Music Conference and Katzy’s Up and Coming.

South Africa’s new songbird has received great reception to her music not only locally, but in West Africa as well. I Wonder, off Bongi Mvuyana’s upcoming debut album, Dopamine, has recently been play listed on Ghana’s YFM and Nigeria’s The Beat 979 FM (debuting on the African Top 10 Chart at #10).

Locally, I Wonder is playing on stations such as Metro FM, Power FM, YFM, Kovsie FM, UCT Radio, Kaya FM, Heart FM, Radio 2000 and East Coast Radio.
