Kendrick Lamar heading for South Africa

Boom Bam! US rapper Kendrick Lamar to touch down in South Africa.

Another big one bagged by Miller for the hippies. Hip hop star Kendrick Lamar will be gracing South Africa with his platinum selling sounds in November.

Lamar is popular for his hit singles that went platinum, ‘Swimming Pool’ and ‘Poetic Justice’ reaching number one spot on MTV’s Billboard Rap and R&B/ Hip-Hop charts.

Recently crowned the ‘Hottest MC in the game by hiphop authority MTV, the 26 year old is taking the scene by storm with his clever rhymes, witty lyrics and forward thinking attitude. He is young, he is fresh, he is ready and destined to change the game as we know it.

Lamar currently made headlines following his slew of punch lines in Big Sean’s track ‘Control’ dissing rappers, will make his first SA performance at the CTICC in Cape Town on the 7th November.

His second show will be at the Johannesburg Stadium on the 8th November before hitting Durban’s Wave House on the 9th November.

Miller Genuine Draft Marketing Manager, Carmen Hobbs says: “With the recent success and popularity of Miller BOOMTOWN at the Durban July, we decided to take Miller BOOMTOWN on tour for everyone to have access to the experience.

“We had to align the beer with a fresh take on things than the Freshest MC on the globe right now, Kendrick Lamar. It’s all about keeping things the Fresh with Miller.”

Tickets will be sold at Computicket from R350-R1900.
