Metro FM presenter T-Bo Touch and his team that run the Touch Down drive time show have been banned from the air waves following an erotic interview with sex educator Jade Zwane.
Metro FM spokeswoman Happy Ngidi said the team would be off air until further notice by management.
“The team unfortunately conducted an interview which was a clear contravention of radio station policy. The interview was regrettably that of an explicit nature a violation of our mandate.
We are a station that informs, educates, entertains and that operates within strict confines of the Broadcasting Regulations and we intend to do just that in a professional and respectful manner,” she said.
DJ Sbu will take over and host the show until Metro FM investigates the misconduct thoroughly.
